Map Files Tab—Geocaching Menu
Manage Geocaching.com pocket queries from within DeLorme Topo North America. You can
also set an option to automatically upload field notes on your PN-Series GPS device to
Geocacaching.com after you sync it with DeLorme Topo North America.
Earthmate GPS Sync
Use Earthmate GPS Sync to synchronize your Earthmate PN-Series GPS device with
DeLorme Topo North America. Sync geocaches, waypoints, tracks, routes, and maps.
Draw Tab
Use the import file option in the Draw tab to import geocache files. The files are converted
to draw files for use in DeLorme Topo North America.
• Geocaching.com Location (.loc) files. These files contain the cache code, cache
name, and the latitude and longitude for the cache location.
• GPS Exchange (.gpx) files have full cache descriptions and hints that you can view in
the Waypoint comment field

Geocaching Menu
Click Geocaching on the Map Files tab to view the Geocaching menu.
Geocaching.com Log In
You must have an premium account at Geocaching.com to create pocket queries. Logging in
through the Geocaching menu allows DeLorme Topo North America and Geocaching.com to
connect for sending information back and forth. It does not log you in to the
Geocaching.com website.
1. Click Log In to open the Log In dialog box.
2. Type your user name and password in the boxes.
3. Select the Remember my log in check box to save your log in information.
